We’ve been pretty regular over the past 18 months or so with our school-year programs, but we’ve noticed a few hiccups in the process, so beginning January 1, 2019, we’re gonna change things up a little and hope that some of our hiccups smooth out.

BIGGEST CHANGE:

Beginning January 1, The Nook area will be reserved for ages 12-17 ONLY between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 pm when school is in session. This is a traffic control concern, because there isn’t enough room for everyone and their younger siblings in The Nook after school. If you’re taking your siblings to the library, you can bring them into the Children’s Area across the hall to watch them. Please remember that you have to supervise any siblings under 10 at all times.

You’re always allowed in The Nook to browse the collection.

OTHER CHANGES:

Popcorn day is changing to Tuesday!

There will be popcorn available in both The Nook and the Literacy Room on Tuesday, so everyone can have some popcorn! Popcorn will be served from 3:30-5:00 pm.

Hopefully, this will ease some of the congestion and crowding in The Nook for the new year and help define our spaces.
