Dates for Digital Learning Sessions are February 12th, March 11th, and April 8th.
“We will meet the first and second Wednesday of each month in February, March, and April.” said Clough, Adult Services Supervisor at PPL. “The first session of each month will be to teach patrons about the various apps they have access to with their library cards. I will walk you through the steps behind downloading the apps and how to access the content within the apps.”
Join her again for a Digital Learning session at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th in the Lower-Level Computer Lab.
“The second session each month will be to showcase the things you can do digitally via the PPL website. I will walk you through how to navigate our website and how to access the e-databases we offer, such as Gale Courses, Novelist Plus, and Consumer Reports”, said Clough. “If you miss the February sessions you can attend the March and April ones too, or attend to all of them to continue your learning. You can also attend a March or April session just to get a refresher from the previous month.”
“Bring your device (or devices) with you, as it is always best to learn on the preferred device that is what you are comfortable with. Guided help will be showcased on a library laptop and the projection screen in case you forget your device though”, ended Clough.
See you at the library!
