Centier Bank is partnering with the Plymouth Public Library this January to offer a free four-part educational Financial Literacy series!
Shaylyn Garza from Centier Bank will lead the four-part series, beginning with a course about budgeting on January 9th. “2 out of 3 people with incomes up to $41,000 a year live paycheck to paycheck” said Garza. “The initial budgeting course will teach you how to create a budget breakdown to help better show where your income goes each month and how to save going forward.”
The second course on January 16th focuses on saving. January 23rd will focus on paying down debt, ending with a course related to credit on January 30th.
Courses begin each Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the Makerspace.
It is not required that you attend all four courses but it is suggested, as the topics discussed each week correspond with one another. If you do attend all four seminars, your name will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 money tree from Centier Bank!
Centier Bank will provide all materials and information needed, as well as light refreshments for each session.
PPL is hosting the events, not handling any of the sign up. Please RSVP your spot online at www.centier.com/plymouth-seminars
