Get out of the house and spend some quality family time at PPL with a free family movie on the library’s big-screen TV!
Every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Laramore Meeting Room, PPL shows a family film for anyone that wants to attend. PPL provides the movie but asks that you bring your own drinks and snacks. PPL asks that Children 11 and under have a caregiver age 18 or older remain with them throughout the film.
On Saturday, November 9th, PPL show the 2019 live-action Disney remake of “Dumbo.” Dumbo, a young elephant whose oversized ears enable him to fly, helps save a struggling circus. But when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his fellow animal friends discover dark secrets behind the scenes. “Dumbo” is rated PG for mild peril and action, and has a run time of one hour and fifty two minutes.
“The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” will be showing on Saturday, November 16th. Five years after the awesome events in the first Lego movie, Lego citizens face a huge new threat: Duplo invaders from outer space! “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” is rated PG for mild action and mild rude humor, and has a run time of one hour and forty seven minutes.
On Saturday, November 23rd, “A Dog’s Way Home” will be showing. The 2019 family hit is the story of a female puppy that travels 400 miles through the Colorado wilderness in search of her owner. “A Dog’s Way Home” is rated PG for thematic elements and mild peril, and has a run time of one hour and thirty six mintues.
“Wonder Park” will be showing on Saturday, November 30th. The 2019 animated movie is the story of an amusement park that exists in the wild imagination of young girl named June, that suddenly comes to life one day! “Wonder Park” is rated PG for mild thematic elements and action, and has a run time of one hour and twenty five minutes.
