Each Monday night at 6:30 p.m. Sheryl Beckham leads YogaFit in Laramore B. YogaFit is a form of Hatha yoga, specifically designed to enhance your strength, balance, and flexibility. YogaFit features a fitness element combined with traditional poses that anyone from a beginner to a more experienced “yogi” can handle! Limited space for this free class is available, but no advance sign-up is required. Bring your own yoga mat, blocks, and sign a liability waiver before participating.
Every first and third Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in the Laramore B Meeting Room, Heather Barron leads Chair Yoga. Do you have a hard time getting up, or have decided that yoga is just not for you? In this free class, Heather will change your mind by teaching you gentle breathing exercises and simple stretches anyone of any ability can perform using only a chair! No advance sign-up or special equipment is needed to participate in this class. Join in at your leisure and start feeling better right away!
