Plymouth students can travel to “The Ends of the Earth” during Fall Break!  PPL has fun events taking place October 14th thru the 18th to help fend off any potential boredom that may creep in during the break.

The theme for this year’s Fall Break is “The Ends of the Earth”, celebrating both the North and South Poles!

On Tuesday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m. in the Laramore A Meeting Room, PPL will kick off the “The Ends of the Earth” with a Movie Day featuring the live-action Disney film “Eight Below”, starring Paul Walker and Jason Biggs.  The 2006 adventure tells the true story of two Antarctic explorers that are forced to leave their team of sled dogs behind in order to survive the harsh weather they experience while on their most recent excursion.  “Eight Below” is rated PG for peril and brief mild language.  Popcorn will be served, but please bring your own drinks.

On Thursday, October 17th at 1:00 p.m. “Journey to the Ends of the Earth” will take place in the Imagination Station in the Children’s Department.  “We will feed a polar bear, put together a baby penguin craft, play in sensory snow, and enjoy some ice cream together!” said children’s librarian Miss Lizzy.
